Educational Advocacy

Every year the Nystagmus Network receives enquiries for information about how young people can get the best from education.

To meet this need, two of our members have trained as educational advocates. We provide information, advice, mediation and advocacy to help young people up to the age of 25. This includes negotiating with statutory bodies and representation at tribunals if necessery.

Both our advocates have been trained by the National Educational Advocacy Partnership (NEAP) with guidance from the Independent Panel for Special Educational Advice (IPSEA).

If you need help or information about the help available to young people with Nystagmus in education, then please get in touch using the contact details below.
